On Panic Mode!
By January 21, 2011 at exactly 11:09 PM EST, my entry for the 4th round of the ACBA World Championship Tournament should be posted on Youtube. But guess what? I’m not even close to 20% done with my display -_-

It’s supposed to be an ancient spartan throne of some kind but I guess it looks like a pyramid I don’t know. I’m still gonna add a lot of details into it I’m just waiting for the paint to settle in and the glue to dry some more.

That’s just a third of the whole display. I think I might be forced to recycle the ruined fort that I used in my round 3 entry to save time. I’ll just make up with it by going extra hard on my two main characters. There will be some decapitation involved and it will be bloody.

In other news, the Lakers won another home game yesterday against the Dallas Mavericks. The guys who swept them off 4-0 on last season’s semi-finals. Kobe wasn’t his usual self scoring only 14 points (scoreless in the first quarter). I guess everyone’s tired because even Dirk Nowitzi and some of the Mavs were a bit off offensively. The only dude who was consistent in the game was Andrew Bynum being his usual double-double self ending up the night with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Steve Blake’s absence as a backup point guard seems to be affecting the whole team because they have to put up having the rookie Darius Morris running the plays from time to time and it leads to a lot of turnovers. It’s understandable because it’s just his first year but I do hope he steps up his game next time because they will be up against Lebroke James and his boys. Oh by the way, Lamar Odom received a standing ovation from the crowd when he got in the game at around 7 minutes in the third quarter. He even shared an embrace with Derek Fisher who made the game winning 3 pointer.
It was an ugly game but as always, a win is a win is a win is a win.
