Last night my mom brought home some slices of Liempo (barbecued pork belly) for dinner and I ate them all! After a couple of hours I felt really dizzy and I felt a certain tightness all over my body. I couldn’t breathe easy and got really nervous. I even told my mom that I needed to go to the hospital. But she told me to just relax and stop being so nervous but I couldn’t, I thought I was gonna die of cardiac arrest or something! Then she gave me this small pill to lower down my blood pressure and slowly massaged my head as I fell asleep. I woke up this morning and it has already subsided but I still felt the need to see the doctor so I did. The doctor got my blood pressure and said it was a bit high and conducted a quick ECG on me. He then prescribed a pill that I have to take everyday from here on out to lower down my blood pressure. He also suggested that I should refrain from eating fatty and salty food and that I need to exercise. That’s why starting next week, I will go to the gym to lose some weight. I’ve been gaining a lot over the past couple of years and I think it’s about time to be fit and healthy. The incident last night was a wake up call for me.

Speaking of getting healthy, Orlando Magic’s Gilbert Arenas is also trying to get better. Kobe Bryant hooked him up to get that mysterious German knee treatment as well, the one that treated Kobe’s knee problem. And if rumors are true, they might even end up being team mates! “We’ve made a call on [Arenas], yes,” La Lakers Head Coach Mike Brown said. “We’ve called to see what his status is. That’s it. I have not talked to him, I have not watched any tape on him. It’s really just conversation.”
I’m all in with this idea man, full circle! The Lakers are in dire need of some back court support. And Arenas could’ve been one of NBA’s top scorers right now if it weren’t for that knee and some other injuries. It’s nice to know that he is in better shape and I sense it would be a sweet comeback for him if he really ends up playing with the Lakers.

I need to get a better articulated Spidey figure. This pre-Marvel Legends Spidey is very nice but lacks some important articulations especially on the shoulders and biceps area. I want the Todd McFarlane Spidey!

The new Constrictor figure is really great if it weren’t for those useless non-bendy tendrils/tentacles. They are made to constrict but they can’t! I wish they could’ve added a bendy wire inside similar to what they did to Omega Red’s a few years ago. The head sculpt on the fig is a major step up though. Really villainy and menacing.
