Let the Chaos Begin...

My body is ready!

I saw someone post this on the ACBA page on Facebook and I think I might have creamed my pants lol. I don’t really know where this photo originated and who it’s from. But this is just awesome! Although I still prefer the old Toybiz packaging but this one looks badass as well and I can’t wait to get my hands on them. As much as I want to get them all, I don’t think that’s gonna happen unless I order them online. But I hope I can find Thor, Commander Steve Rogers and Hope Summers available here locally. I’d be satisfied with just those three.

Yesterday I went out to watch Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol with a friend. I’ve been dying to see it because I thought they’d have The Dark Knight Rises Prologue attached to it. But to my disappointment, it’s only available in IMAX :( which this city doesn’t have. But it was an awesome movie. The best one of the four in my opinion. It’s an essential summer blockbuster movie that came out late. And this is the best action movie I’ve seen this year. I think it has something to do with Bad Robot Productions being attached to it. 

Simon Pegg killed it! I think it would’ve been boring without the guy. His comedic timing is so perfect.

After the movie I swung by our local TRU and found out they have a sale on 3.75 inch scale figures so I scooped up these three.

I’m thinking of making a 3 3/4 display featuring Cap infiltrating a HYDRA base and having these three is the first step. Of course I need to army build a bunch of HYDRA soldiers I think about 10-15 would do. Crossbones is my favorite of the three. I love the work they’ve done on the sculpt and paint detail. I can’t wait to get them out of their packaging.

Anyway, this is my new puppy. She’s just 2 months old. She’s an “askal” (mongrel dog, street dog or trash can tipper in some parts of the world) but she’s pretty cute. I still don’t know what to call her though. It’s an intense battle among, Sam (Spammy-O), Destiny, Salmon and Bacon. 

All these NYCC pictures are making me drool. And now I’m confused as to which scale I should focus on: 1:12 or 1:18!

I like how they sculpted US Agent. Excited to see it with paint details soon.

I’d still get the old Wesley Snipes one if I get the chance but this head sculpt is  off the fuckin hook!

And yes finally part deux!

Hasbro is really stepping up their game and I’m really excited for next year. I just hope that these figures reach the Philippine shores. Christmas came early for all the action figure collectors :)
